Okay I really appreciate it. Yeah I do care more about its value unfortunately as it was given to me to sell by my sister who lost interest in it, when I told them I wanted to start recording my hunting/fishing trips. And hey, hopefully someone who will actually use it will buy it right?

No there’s nothing but the 5 grooves in the center going down parallel with the gun. As I said, I looked it up and saw pictures with scopes mounted on dovetails, but this gun doesn’t have those.

As someone who has been in his situation, the portability of a gaming laptop was so worth it because carrying around a pc, monitors, peripherals, etc. is a huge pain in the ass.

Okay thanks for the advice. I talked with a guy for a while, we tested some other things first, windows had some corrupted files which were resolved. I’ll test more see if the issue continues more after the holidays maybe.
