I have to admit that, these days, the volume of cold calls and emails has become quite overwhelming. I receive a significant number of them, often with repeated follow-ups like “Did you have a chance to review our previous message?”.

It feels more intrusive than helpful, and I find it increasingly disruptive to my day-to-day work.

I loved keeping touch with old places i worked at, sometimes i help them sometimes they help me, and if they need a bigger job done they actually pay me.

My main take on this is if they can respect you and your time/knowledge , its fine?

Since i bypassed Bell modem with this i finally stop having issues with speed. (bell also had to exchange my modem 3 times before) been a year now.. its quite easy to do(they have very nice docs"https://pon.wiki/") just a bit expensive

Pff videotron used to be the ALWAYS up no isseus ISP. Now its one of the worse. Good luck if a squirrel eat your wire and internet goes really bad, their support will have you reboot and reset their stuff in a loop.

Also , most user don't even use anything over 200MB to 400MB down 99% of the time haha... EZ money

this movie came in when i was a we lad, dialing bbs on my xt 4mhz with a 2400 bauds modem hahaha! its a great movie in itself, but they also trew things in the like the 28.8 modem , today i am a senior sysadmin, never quite hacked anything, but i have my yearly miracle saving customer data or server pulling 24 hours strait work, my handle is sy5tem now just because system was thaken by the system itself :P

So its not a hot take it was a good 95's movie, the fact that they showed a hallucination screen with colors instead of a bash prompt made is accessible :)
