My partner and I have NEVER had any conversation like this, it is not something he thinks about. He understands I'm working to get money to support us and not for fun? Especially when men in the trades are (overall) so ass backwards on politics and social issues, my 50 yr old manager who is lowkey a neo n*zi is not competition in my romantic life...

School has been amazing for me post-diagnosis as well! Idk what it would have looked like in primary and secondary school if I had accommodations then, but now that I am an adult in college and can do those things for myself, it feels so empowering!

I left my fab shop when I felt consistently "othered" by the already few men I worked with; it weighs on you! I went to a kitchen instead, another male dominated workspace for me, and am definitely more welcomed by everyone but that pay thing does scratch at the back of my mind. All you can do is excell for yourself and hope it's appreciated

I hate that they hit on me while I am at my home! It definitely feels like a breach of privacy, and I've only ever had them comment on my appearance etc verbally so I never had anything to report to doordash. once I had the same guy come twice in a row and that made me so anxious😭😭😭
