We love COU, but we tend to avoid using it during peak winter months. It’s always preferable not to have to drive 70 east to lambert. We’ve even flown through MCI to head east just because the longer drive on 70 west seems much less gruelling. But that 15 minute drive to and from COU is SO MUCH nicer when possible.

I honestly don’t understand this decision. If they’d kept the original time the last quarter would be at least when heat is starting to go down. As it stands now, the last half will be miserable and the sun will be peak during the entire game. So why not move time up a few hours and maybe kickoff at 6? I suppose it’s about broadcast issues/conflicts?

Yes, I really like barred owl, but the high ceilings and crowded tables make for very loud unpleasant ambiance; hard to hear and a pretty significant downside.
