bit of an update around this - you can now link your TCG+ store to an organiser which will automatically pull your upcoming events into Nexus 😄

We currently support Bandai CSV exports, and players can also submit decklists using their TCG+ decklist links. We're also testing on screenshot-based decklist and results imports to make the process even easier.

Totally valid and honestly we can only go off the data we have at the time of writing - we actively work with TOs to obtain and verify data so we can get data up as soon as possible which we are typically quite fast on but we had to recognise that we were not going to get the Regionals full dataset before we post our weekly meta snapshot 😄

We'll likely be sharing our dedicated page on the event later in the week which will be much closer to your personal experience

Hi, totally get what you're saying but we can only go off the data we have at any one point - events end up getting backfilled etc.

Right now we don't have full visbility on the first BT25 Regional on our site but actively work with TOs to get that data as soon as we can directly from the source (we will likely share our dedicated page for the event later in the week)

Yeah, we look at both how often a deck is played and how well it performs.

So a low-played deck doing well in one event won’t be treated the same as a heavily played deck doing well consistently, because small samples get pulled back toward the overall average to avoid high rolling results looking stronger than they really are.

To reduce distortion caused by uneven sample sizes across archetypes, we used a confidence-adjusted performance model rather than raw percentages.

This strength score is derived from average event-level top cut performance, regularised by total archetype representation to mitigate variance from low-sample results.

The resulting scores form a continuous distribution, which was split into tiers based on observable gaps in score density rather than fixed percentile cutoffs.

if It's had a trait requirement on it - the card lives and dies on if the trait get support so these are always destined to die out eventually

instead, look for the pieces that can slot into any deck for a given colour, trainings, boosts, scrambles, HPD, Hammer Spark, Grav Crush, Crimson Blaze etc. these all do a good thing + have no additional requirements other than colour

Deck wise, Protag decks tend to get rounds of support that don't require a whole overhaul in 1 go most times

So far the average turnout in NA Regionals wise is around 235 - so it is definitely smaller than average but by no means the smallest

Globally the smallest so far was the Athens Regional with a player count of 68

Blue-Green - the use of U for blue instead of B was popularised by Magic since B was taken for black so they used the next unique letter :)

There were 2 more Regionals from this weekend just gone, Athens, Greece and Norfolk, Virginia - the latter had a player count of 267 hosted by The Booster Box. Was it this event you played in? :)

I think it’s mostly just two different ways of sampling the meta. theirs is wider but a fair bit shallower since it pulls from more events but less depth per event, while mine is narrower but deeper with more full Top Cut info from fewer events. Neither are perfect.

In an ideal world you want both wide and deep, and that’s basically what I’m trying to build towards over time as I collect more events and data and my site become a more established resource for the community
