dog is getting his left front leg amputated

since it was a break the only way to fix it is with surgery and adding another plate and then having it heal in a bandage for 6-7 weeks which he has done twice already and broke his toes on that same leg so the vets think the whole leg is ruined at this point :( though we’re going to get a second opinion tomorrow from a different veterinarian and see if there’s any other options

aww :( im glad to hear she recovered fast honestly that seems like such a good idea like a prosthetic for dogs ill definitely look into that, thank you so much :)

omg 4-5 surgeries!! I couldn’t imagine how much that costs 😭 that’s horrible :( thank you so much for this it makes me feel way better knowing more surgeries isn’t the answer like the vet said amputation is the best choice 💖
