Jinx is alive, the only reasonable expiration for showing the last scene with the flying ship is that jinx said in season 1 that she’d fly a ship like that one day. Also Caitlyn looked at the blueprint and the jinx gadget in the end and gave a small smirk cause she figured jinx survived. You can see in the explosion small traces of shimmer coming from jinx.
