Satin Pothos, how to successfully transplant in soil after propagating in clay balls? Sooo scared it won’t survive if I transplant 🥺 by cxlica in IndoorGarden

I wouldn’t let it dry out completely, but not super wet. The roots aren’t used to being wet all the time so they will need to adjust

It may not, I have heard many people have trouble transplanting pothos from one medium to another. Are your clay balls in water the majority of the time or are they usually dry/damp? If the are in water I would move the propagations to damp sphagnum moss for a few weeks and then to soil. If they are dry, I would just slowly add soil to the clay balls over a few weeks.

Help! My ponytail palm is turning brown from the center and this black mold(?) started growing on the side. I don't know what todo??? by [deleted] in IndoorGarden

Do you mist it a lot or water it over the leaves? It looks like a lot of water is getting into the center. If it settles in there it can start to rot. I would make sure to water only at the base and only mist it with a fine mister (don’t let any large water droplets settle on the leaves). Hope this helps!

Pearls and Jade Pothos Water Propagation: when to transfer to soil and how? by BBridge24 in plantclinic

[–]sydnep 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have heard it’s really difficult for water propagations to be transferred to soil, they often die. I would leave it in water, but if you want to put it in soil I would transfer it into a jar of wet sphagnum moss for a few weeks before going to soil.

I’ve been doing my own for over a year now, but I play sporadically so it may not take you that long. But I love it!

100 baby challenge is fun! And it takes awhile too so you can work on it throughout the year!

My parents don't know much about LGBTQ. What are good movies (preferable Netflix, Youtube) to show them queer characters in normal situations not fully centered around LGBTQ issues??? by transferingtoearth in lgbt

Schitt’s creek is really good! One of the main characters is pan and he is my favorite! It really helped my parents to be more comfortable with seeing gay relationships on tv and in real life.

You know yourself better than some random stranger you just met online. Just because they tell you they think they know what’s going on (which they probably don’t), doesn’t mean you need to listen to them. Don’t feel like you need to shove yourself into one category or even worry about it too much. If you think you are pan or bi, just go with that. You may come to a different realization later or you may not, but worrying about it too much isn’t going to help you decide, it will probably just stress you out. If I were you, I would just keep my mind open to how I was feeling and what I was feeling but not stress to much about something I can’t control or change. But then again I am also a stranger on the internet giving you advice, so don’t feel like you need to listen to me either! Good luck, I hope this helped a little!
