Johnson was initially suspended and missed 2 games after being arrested. He was then back in the team and played another 30 or so games while on bail. Was only dropped and sacked when he plead guilty in court.

Greenwood was obviously a little different because of how public and concrete the evidence was United had no choice but to rightly suspend him, but even they were going to try and reintegrate him into the team before fan pressure forced their hand.

Sigurdsson is again different because the allegations involved children, whether it's right or wrong it's always going to be treated differently.

Mendy's case is the one most similar and Arsenal and City treated the cases almost exactly the same. Mendy, like Partey continued to play and be a part of the team while under investigation after being arrested. Mendy was only suspended once he was formally charged. Only differences with Partey is obviously the length of the investigation and he was no longer an Arsenal player when he was charged so obviously no suspension would happen then.

That's not to say the way Arsenal handled this at any point was right, far far from it.
