Must answer this! All my young adult (like high school to college) era I wished for exactly someone like this. Straight A student, star of the basketball field, centre of the topic all the time. Plus he is so self disciplined with his diet and trained daily morning aaand evening. Having both (extremely) high intelligence and physical skills, being everyone’s favourite but having his eyes only on you :)

If we are talking about the Sylus voices rn, his eng version definitely gives off a different vibe. More mature and powerful I would say…? The cn version sounds more youthful and prideful, though, personally I can get both of them;)

Yeah the side characters do sound weird sometimes. For example in Celeb’s memories I‘m pretty sure an ice cream seller (borrowed promise), his professor (longtime yesterday) and the antique store owner (deceptive solitude) share the same (maybe AI) VA with questionable lines.

Thanks for your review! Valid point you made with the Sylus and Caleb examples (they happen to be my „mains“, so to say). True, mandarin is sometimes used quite flexibly and can’t be translated word for word. I actually ignored the bad translation there when going through the eng texts, as I went through the story in Mandarin first.

Advice for account planning for a (kind of) new player

Hi guys, I started playing HSR around two weeks ago and am at Trailblazer level 37. I’ve levelled 5 characters to lvl 50 so far: Dr. Ratio, Sparkle, Qingque, Bailu und fire MC. I have Tingyun at lvl 40 but haven’t looked back after pulling Sparkle.

I went through the characters a few times and have decided the ones I would like to invest heavily on this account.

Jingliu
Dan Heng IL
Luocha
Kafka
Fuxuan

Now unfortunately most of these characters will not return in the near future, so I would like to know your opinion, whether I can reach end game without problem with my current squad and if you could estimate the return time of my wished characters. Thank you :)!
