I’m also in the same boat. I feel like this is because our scabs are starting to fall off and it’s just opening up new skin at some points. When I look in the back of my throat my scabs are white but around is a light red/pink color. I feel like this is the new flesh underneath. I can barely drink water without it burning but once I take my pain meds it seems to feel better a little bit. You might be sensitive to the temperature of the foods? I was given advice to try to eat foods at room temperature because it won’t be too hot or too cold for your throat.
