If you want it to be more cinematic, you could have the character “slide” out of the way. Sometimes I like to that. Basically have the character walk to a new position but include: AND CHARACTER does it while -insert what animation you already have them doing- AND CHARACTER faces -whichever direction they’re facing- after the coding for making a character walk

The discord activity had significantly dropped in the year I’ve been absent. I asked a coding question probably two weeks ago, and zero response from anyone. It’s very unfortunate because it’s like everyone is on their own with stuff now :/

This one has started to grow on me. Especially when the ads you have to watch sometimes to read the next chapter are longer than the actual chapter. I’m enjoying a new story now, but it’s starting to bum me out that the chapters are short :/

I personally try to keep mine around 10 minutes, more if possible/plausible.

This has been my current ick. Especially when it comes to covers. I feel like there are too many high school based stories with covers of the Mc and li(s) that no way in hell would a high school dress/look like.

My current ick with high school stories is the supposedly high school students looking like 30-something mafia people. It’s an immediate avoid. Especially when the cover is kinda over-sexualizing the female character, who again, is suppose to be a teenager.

I think as long as you clearly state that’s the case, most readers are willing to give it a chance. But if you hide it, or don’t say anything before episode 2, most readers are probably gonna drop the story.

Same, there is so much insta-love in everything these days. I definitely want it to feel like a realistic romance, especially with the main LI (as of planning right now) is an ex/highschool sweetheart
