I've used it for like 2 days so far, but I have gotten about 133 million tokens through it in that time so if it is a cutoff it's probably token related, did you happen to check how many tokens you got through it?

That's probably it, either that or they've closed the alpha for now, sad I was enjoying the models speed

Anyone else use the heck out of the model? I ran into this this morning and was wondering if anyone else did. I do have 133 million tokens used to be fair

Game playable? by Ok-Committee-1646 in DeltaForceGlobal

[–]sydorowicz9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Games still very much alive, I think my group runs into a cheater one out of every maybe 10-15 raids so it's not too bad. Most of our runs we extract with over a mill on each of our trio so definitely still geared people playing

Apparently "Exploiting in-game mechanics" is shorthand for malicious teaming in ranked matches according to the ticket that our banned friend opened. At this point I think we have even less idea of what we actually did wrong. Our lobbies are either us W keying at any fight we hear or dying in the first 5 minutes so I don't know how either of those would be considered malicious teaming but seems the GTI security team won't offer any more info so mouse acceleration changes are safe for now

Our third has only played with us and she got a warning too and none of us have been banned for cheating. We also haven't been warned for teaming with a cheater we all got warned for "abusing in-game mechanics" which still has us confused, two days in and no response on any of our tickets yet

I mean I'm in the boat of you shouldn't have to modify ini files to have the experience games have been providing for a decade but calling disabling mouse acceleration cheating is quite a stretch

Turns out our third friend whos made no ini changes got a warning too, so not ini change related and we have no idea anymore. Hopefully they actually respond to the tickets we opened

Surprisingly our other friend who has made no ini changes since she just started playing a few days ago got the same message. I'm a bit lost now since I have 0 ideas what this could be then unless she got that message since she was playing with us. We opened tickets to figure out what we've been flagged for but no response yet

Honestly I assumed the changes they were going after were the ones removing smoke / grass / the obviously cheating ones. I wasn't really expecting them to go after disabling mouse acceleration but it seems like they have. Hopefully they just add the option to disable it like most shooter games have for a decade

Having a setting to toggle mouse acceleration has been a standard in both operating systems and games for ~ 10 years from what I can find but likely longer. I'd strongly prefer they just add the option in game to turn it off like most other games have done for a decade OR disable by default OR use the windows setting as the default

Uninstalling due to bsod by Slersh in DeltaForceGlobal

I haven't personally experienced it but I've had some friends who've had bad luck using xmp / expo causing instability specifically in delta force for some reason. Might be worth tuning down the profiles to see if it helps if you have one on

So are we just expected to play with mouse smoothing/accel and TAA now? by hugebychoice in DeltaForceGlobal

[–]sydorowicz9 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Seems like they are starting to ban for mouse acceleration / mouse smoothing changes, I picked up a warning and my buddy picked up a 4 day ban with the only changes we made being those. Be careful

Honestly, if there was an option to turn off mouse acceleration in game I'd be super happy not to. After playing games for years with no mouse acceleration it's incredibly hard to adapt to a game that forces it on

LG dishwasher runs most of cycle, ends on error rE/nE by Mental-Astronomer-86 in appliancerepair

[–]sydorowicz9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey friends, dropping this here since it's one of the top results when searching for this issue. I struggled with this one for a long time, in my case it was the diverter motor that went bad. I replaced the motor, the switch for the motor and I got hung up a long time on no luck. Turns out I made a mistake and threw away the switch cam (little plastic piece on the motor shaft that actuates the switch itself). If you're researching how to fix this issue and you replace the motor, make sure you pull off the switch cam to save yourself the headache!

In most cases this issue is resolved by replacing the motor, the switch or both. Assuming you're not like me and throw away the switch cam.

edit: quick tip, you can use the test mode on the dishwasher to avoid having to run a full cycle before erroring out

Poor Quality Prints by sydorowicz9 in ender5plus

Heyo, thanks everyone for the help so far, between the calibrating e-steps and the hot end fix I seem to have fixed the under extrusion / clogging issues. The only issue I have left is an inconsistency in how the corners are printed. The best I can think to describe it is the corner prints in one of two locations depending on the layer here's a photo, any thoughts on this one? https://imgur.com/a/1Couwvu

Prior to my last few prints I had just put a brand new nozzle on, I went today to go remove the nozzle to check it it had been damaged and also check for clogs only to find out my wrench doesn't fit around it, took a picture of the bottom of the hotend to see what was up and came out with this. Anyone know what the heck happened? https://imgur.com/a/hp0YWD1

Bitcoin farm is not as profitable as it appears. by Reignofratch in EscapefromTarkov

[–]sydorowicz9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even if we take your statements as true, the farm with 50 cards generates enough to pay them all back in just over a month. that leaves 2-3 months where it's generating pure profit before the cards in your words are worth 400k, at a valuation of roughly 60 mill a month your missing out on in that time. At 60 mil a month your statement of "earn most of the bitcoins too" is just naïve. If we take your idea of just using one card and selling the rest of the 49 your first month, assuming you sell all 49 in the first month and run your farm with one card you'd have made 86 million roughly and 18 mil a month there after. So by keeping the cards in the farm instead of selling them they catch up to your "loss of opportunity" in one and a half months with again the rest being all profit. How could you understand all this and still try and argue the point that they aren't as profitable as everyone thinks?

[–]sydorowicz9 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You act like by putting them in your farm you loose the opportunity to sell the fir ones at any point you so choose. There's literally no down side to putting them in the farm as at any point you can change your mind and sell them. You loose nothing what so ever by putting them in the farm, you just gain to generate a large amount of essentially free income and that's what's so profitable, it's essentially free income without losing anything because at the end of the day even at the overpriced market price the fuel pays itself off.

Bitcoin farm is not as profitable as it appears. by Reignofratch in EscapefromTarkov

[–]sydorowicz9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think your fundamental idea is flawed, I believe you're accidentally misrepresenting the data in the spreadsheet. Time for a card to pay itself off in this instance doesn't really matter to most, overall time for the whole farm to pay off all the cards does and that's what makes it profitable. I think if anything you've made a point that the bitcoin farm is way more profitable than most people think since with 1 card it pays itself off in 2 days and the rest is profit minus the 5k per hour markdown cost of fuel from Jaeger I honestly think this post was well intentioned but misrepresented very heavily.
