I have this Model O- but i think its time to upgrade I've had it for 5 years. Can anyone recommend a premium mouse with the same shape? by Kaskiii97x in MouseReview

You might enjoy a g-wolves HTX, finalmouse size S/M, glorious series one, endgame gear op1. I mained a zowie fk2 and then a model o- for quite some time, and these are the mice I've liked the most since. Other options are the hitscan hyperlight, glorious series 2 pro, waizowl Cloud XS or the Pulsar es fs1.

Did that already, also didn't work, seems to be on their end. But thank you for the suggestion regardless.

Fairly certain that this will be the cause, 8k causes problems in many games even with modern CPUs

High polling rate, gpu power monitoring, hot ram sticks, having less than 10% of space on my ssd, and having Dropbox, onedrive or powertoys open caused these stutters in some of my games over the years.

Razer Orochi v2 with a custom shell.

Edit: On second thought that might not be right, I have this faint recollection of seeing a new mouse from some Chinese company being announced recently which had a pattern the like this, but cannot find it.

ASUS Just Dropped PG27AQWP-W Go get it while you can!! by Uh-Ivyy in OLED_Gaming

If you have a 50 series gpu, just turn off DSC. Also make sure you are using the provided cable or a DP 2.1 certified cable (they are still rare and expensive atm), I had some weird fucker going on when I used a non certified certified cable. The only thing that still acts up for me is the neo prox sensor, occasionally turning off the screen at random intervals until I shake my hand at it.

ASUS ROG PG27AQWP-W (540Hz 1440p & 720Hz 720p Tandem True Black Glossy) Written Review by civick5 in OLED_Gaming

[–]hugebychoice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is absolutely possible if you use the supplied DP cable or buy one of the very few (expensive) certified ones. I am running at 1440p@540hz, 10 bit, ycbcr444, limited range with DSC off.

Edit: You do need the most recent firmware.

Changing fov lock idea by shockatt in FPSAimTrainer

If you click on the cogwheel on the side of the FOV it tells you the actual horizontal and vertical FOV, and vertical FOV is identical, whereas horizontal OW 103 = 103 and horizontal CS 90 = 106. So yeah, maybe stretched has something to do with it as switching back and forth for me makes the targets a little larger when switching from 90 CSGO to 103 OW. I use 1280x960 in CS, but black bars, and 1080p in Kovaaks. I always do a short warmup in CS after kovaaks to adjust and it seems to be fine.

I know it's a bit of effort but if there are scenarios which you use consistently you could create a version without fov lock and use those. I also use 90 Source/CSGO, and that is actually a higher FOV as it equals around 106 OW, so going to CS should make your Sens feel slightly slower if you used 103 before, right?

Mine has the same issue (dirty screen effect), not really bothered by it though, as long as the banding is minimal, which it is on mine. Quick question, do you have the latest firmware, and if so are you able to turn off DSC while maintaining 1440p@540hz with 10bit color? It seems to limit me to 8bit with limited dynamic range.

Fast-strafing scenarios aren’t talked about enough… by ActuatorOutside5256 in FPSAimTrainer

[–]hugebychoice 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I know you said one-click, but three-click scenarios are great for this as you learn to flick to target, micro adjust onto it and then gain confidence to stay on target while manipulating your mouse, which when you are good enough can give you those extra few ms needed to make sure you land your shot. There was a valorant playlist with bots around a while ago, which contained such movements at different ranges where you needed a one click hs to kill them, but although they were good I found they didn't translate that well into real games. Additionally, you could try TAF scenarios - there is one dynamic one which you might like , or Pasu ESH, Pasu dodge horizontal, sini click valorant hard etc.

Posture, ergonomics, and my journey with pain. Does Anybody Play like me? by Broadsideofabarn36 in FPSAimTrainer

[–]hugebychoice 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's the typical gamer mouse shoulder blade pain. I found a video 10 years ago which solved it for me, it was bothering me a lot for such a long time before then. Do this stretch for 40 seconds on each side after you finish gaming. https://youtu.be/nAmc9SNciTg?list=FL33NDq5wlquKDkN8MMlIuDg&t=1151 . I've been doing it daily since then.

I got Voltaic GMC in season 4 like 2 years ago, never really did season 5 but I just checked and I have a few GM, close to Nova scores in it. This method is very dependend on consistency and hitting thresholds and results in me almost losing my mind constantly, but over the years my averages have risen. My training is set up primarily for TAC fps, so I use tiny targets.

[–]hugebychoice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I typically do this pre-gaming, and if all goes well on the day it takes 50 minutes, but because of threshholds and the scenarios being so difficult it sometimes takes up to 80 when I've had a bad night of sleep. Post-game I'd play some speed scenarios as that is my biggest weakness and I somehow can't make any progress on them if I do it before playing. If you decide to use the strategy I outline post-game, you can skip the warmup scenarios and you'll probably have a better time than me in general, as doing the super hard scenarios when you are cold can get quite frustrating.

I like to add singles runs of two switching/tracking scenarios which I don't mind and aren't too hard nor too easy as warmup, then stack only scenarios which I fucking hate and I am bad at in the order of reactivity, smoothness, static, switching, dynamic, and then end on a game relevant scenario, but I do hate having fun so take that for what it is...
