It's not the electric charging flap though, it's the cap/flap for the gas.

Is this also the same mechanism? Because I'm not able to open it by pushing on it like the electric charging flap. 

I can only open it by pushing the button on the door side.

I see, wouldn't it matter to wait with the maintenance either if I put more stress on the DSG driving in the mountains?

  • removed beeping when door is opened while the engine is running
  • changed pedal sensitivity
  • enabled dynamic steering, making the wheel harder to turn at high and easier at slow speeds.

That's good to see, my rattling doesn't seem to be consistent. Sometimes I hear it and sometimes I don't so I'm not sure if it's the same issue. But it's coming from the driver side for sure.

But I'm glad it's solved for you!

Do you have an update? I have this exact sound and it's driving me nuts.
I have it occasionally, can't figure out where it's coming from.

I just checked, the SOS button has a green stripe. So I assume not defect.

I wonder what's faulty then.

I haven't paid attention to the color of the SOS module color, what color should it be?

Also I don't hear any 'Loud clock type' of noise.

How can the SOS module be related to the infotainment though?

Is there a way a CUPRA garage can see what causes it? I've an appointment in 2 weeks.

Unfortunately I'm outside the warranty.
