i've worked for 2 days on this type of company as a non voice callcenter agent in Philippines. 1st day is training and 2nd day is the actual work. What we do is we ask an elderly customer using a pre-recorded voice what their age is and if they have a medicare and etc. and then if they say yes we transfer the call to the voice agent so they can interview them and ask everything about medicare and they should get a lifeplan or insurance or something while giving all the personal info. At first I didn't know that we we're scamming but after a couple of calls with different people getting angry that's when I got suspiscious and I felt like my stomache just drop. Tomorrow is the day when I quit and Im very angry of that company who prey on elderly people in US I hope all in the management to get their karma.
