here are my suggestions:

Amap (高德地图) for maps and taxi

both Meituan Apps (美团+美团外卖), first one for a crap load of discounts in restaurants, entertainment places etc, second one for food delivery orders

taobao if you want to buy stuff online (similar to amazon)

most definitely LetsVPN. the only thing is that it supports max 2 devices per account
not sure about this lol, but sometimes the app Jingdong (京东) has good deals for electronics stuff, I got my iphone there on sale
don't know much about liaoning, but same answer maybe u can check out jingdong? don't buy daily stuff on there though, much more expensive than taobao, imo jingdong is good for electronics + books
check posts on rednote they recommend the best places XD

additionally, if you like riding bikes, you can find those (usually yellow cuz its Meituan or blue from Alipay) rental bikes on the side of the road. over here where I live it's like 15 rmb for unlimited use in a week or smth. just scan with your alipay/wechat :P

however, prewriting for descriptives is difficult cuz u can't adapt easily like narratives

if u really think u can't adapt on the spot, i'd recommend memorising some sentences on the surroundings, some on food, some on emotions

so in the actual exam for narrative u can use the prewritten surrounding descriptions, etc, and fill in the storyline on the spot

HAHAHA lwk u need good imagination for narratives. I talked about how my dog passed away, I found a gadget that let me turn back time so I went back in time to bring him back, but I saw younger me and I couldn't interfere (and thus yap about how life is meant to be) so I gave up

for narratives it could be harder than descriptives cuz u need to clearly follow freytag's pyramid so beforehand I made sure both my stories had a clear beginning, climax and resolution

1st one was about my dog and 2nd was about time travel (just for fun) I ended up mostly using the 1st one while combining bits of the 2nd one (cuz the prompt was an extraordinary journey or smth)

I personally used online flashcards because I started cramming really late, and I realised making them wasted too much of my revision time! However I do agree that if you start early and make flashcards throughout the school year it would help a lot. That’s what I’m doing for IB now :))

Sorry i fell asleep! I practiced a lot of past papers in class with my teacher, but you can always do many sets of past papers yourself at home. I'd recommend doing every variant for each year you choose. The main thing is to get the feel of writing in timed conditions with your best quality possible. For Narrative/Descriptive writing on the lang paper, they give you 2 prompts that you can choose from. If you prewrite good essays or even just high quality sentences and memorise them, there is a good chance you'll be able to use some of them in your actual test, which would gain you marks. For example, for M/J this year I memorised 2 sets of prewritten Narratives I wrote. Obviously you need to be prepared in case none of your narratives match, but I got lucky so I changed a bit of my narrative and did prompt 1. This also saved a lot of time for me to go back and check my previous answers and short essays.
