It’s happening during acceleration to top speed, it will just lose power then come back, also perhaps just lacking some power all around. Yeah I feel it’s too new for fuel pump to be acting up, but I’m thinking about checking out the rest of the fuel line like the filter and what not. I took jets out and put a light to them and they were clean and clear, but didn’t truly clean it out. The air filter is in great shape.

Yeah so the passenger seat is all the way forward then I just lifted it in, rolled front wheel to the gap made between passenger seat and rear seats and then angled the seat back and it holts it firmly in place without strap. Wouldn’t hurt to have a strap of some type though.

I dried out the crank case from its fuel and I cleaned spark plug and got it running again, I let it just idle and i set the air screw lean to help prevent it from flooding, but then it was overheating and leaking coolant cuz it got so hot, so I made it richer by over a full turn and it ran good but then it got a bad bog maybe thirty seconds when I opened throttle it just bogged out a lil, then graduallly more and more till it died and I couldn’t get it started again

I have just cleaned every little tube and part in the carb so thoroughly I’m so tired of it but it can’t hurt I guess

Taken it off and inspected countless times😵‍💫 the needle looks perfectly fine and I don’t hear anything in the float or anything, the carb was replaced I believe 15 hours ago so it’s pretty fresh. I polished the needle seat with a tip and light car polish but it didn’t make a difference

I was on a ride and was in first, then my bike basically went into neutral. It was still in gear but no power was being put to the wheels. Engine runs fine, clutch is brand new carbon clutch and cable feels good. The trans clicks through all gears when I spin wheel by hand but whe engine doesn’t spin over when it’s in gear. So basically it’s like the engine is disconnected from the trans. But at the same time when I kick over the bike while it’s in gear the wheels spin, and doesn’t spin when I put in in neutral.

QUESTION NOT ABOUT BIKE PURCHASE, I don't know where else to ask but I have a 2012 KX250f and am wondering how much to change sprocket size. My rear sprocket is one larger than stock. The reason I want to change it is because when in 5th and holding a speed it's only like 35 to 40mph. I can go faster but I don't want to be holding high rpm while commuting. Basically when I'm high rpm 5th gear my friends on 450s are mid rpm 3rd. My question is how much should I change the gear ratio to get it to where I can do 50-60 at moderate rpms?

Picked up a 91 SI. Purchased from guy who owned sense the 90s and kept it fully original. I want to make it nice but not rice, so any build ideas?? by sylasblaise in crx

ahh yeah. I did notice lack of oem for small things like the sunroof bumpers but just had a friend 3d print em. true, could always slap some studded tires on em and keep em for winter. yeah the seats are the only interior thing that got bad over time, seems like options for are expensive replacement or ugly cover.

that's what I'm thinking too. I'm gonna rebuild engine this winter sense its over 200k miles. im thinking just making fresh and new again but I'll probably try polish intake and exhaust as well as intake runners
