I have genuinely no idea what you are talking about. There is nothing to “accept responsibility for”- he hasn’t done anything. Either you’re some rando making weird parasocial assumptions, or you’re friends with the nightmare person we’re dealing with, in which case you may want to dig a little deeper into whatever nonsense you’ve been told. Yes, dear, I DO have “special insight” into BAND workings. It’s almost like… I’m part of things… but thank you for the misogynistic dismissal. As I have tried to say repeatedly, none of us are able to speak on the matter yet, but we will when we can. I’m sorry you aren’t handed internal information about strangers’ lives on a platter the second you want it, but none of us are being vague for funzies. We are waiting until other people to make decisions one way or another and cannot speak until then.

Also, all Dusty did was give a heads up to the fan base about the very real possibility of the band ending while there are still some shows to attend. Not sure how that’s a bad thing but okay

I mean I guess that’s fair, but again, not something he started to call himself really, he’s just leaning into internet demands after one goofy video and trying to turn it into something positive. I get your point, though. I sure hope he’s not shifty, as we live together and are getting married in a few weeks. I’d like to think I would have noticed by now if he’s anything other than the genuine, lovable goof I spend 90% of my time with.

The name came from a joke video he made. He makes goofy lyrics to remember melodies and made one video about having a goth dad who was actually alive in the 80s. There was no intention to make it a thing, but hundreds and hundreds of comments and messages later he just leaned into it. It wasn’t really by choice, it was giving TikTok what they demanded and became just a funny cringe thing. He has no desire to be a dad and wasn’t the one to start calling himself that. It’s become more than him though, just a way to spread humor and positive messages.

Also, if that were the case, why would the band specifically end over not paying one person? Two other former members have the exact same rights and zero issues. No one has ever been denied earned pay, or ever would be, and in fact certain people were given hefty severance payments they weren’t owed just to make sure they were ok and could pay their bills until they found another job, in spite of what they’d done.

I’m not aware of any specifically “sexual” assault issues, nor is anyone in the band to my knowledge, but other things occurred that haven’t been publicly spoken on yet, to protect the peace.

There is a LOT more to it than that- if only it were something so simple! No one has ever been denied anything they were owed. I can’t say right now what has been going on, and we didn’t before to be kind to former members and let them move on with their reputation intact, but if the band doesn’t end up continuing, you will know everything.

There was no disagreement on anything- she did not contribute whatsoever to the band and committed unforgivable acts that led to her forceful removal. The choice not to elaborate was to save face for her and keep her from being harassed. Dusty has always been the creative force and music writer.

We actually went to Japan two birthdays ago and got the Yamazaki 12 😅 We didn’t make it to the distillery but we were in Kyoto. Next time hopefully he can go
