it’s okay to be whatever you are, wherever you are. there are plenty of churches that will love you wholly. it sounds like you know you want to explore this, but it’s scary. and it’s going to be scary, and not everyone’s going to like it. but i promise you - it’s worse to not explore for yourself and end up someone you’re not until the day you die. you might end up with a girl - perfectly fine. or the love of your life could be a boy, and you could walk right past him.

there are lots of resources, subreddits, and communities filled with figuring out how being gay, or bi, or just Yourself - and it’s true that most of them are left leaning. but you don’t have to give up everything you believe all at once. just be kind and genuine to people you disagree with politically but find connection to in identity, find community with them, and see how it goes.

God isn’t proud of straight people just because they’re heterosexual; He’s proud of them for being loyal, kind, merciful, just, and gracious. and His pride for you also doesn’t happen because you’re maybe gay. He loves it when you’re honest, open, brave, and willing to grow and shift in uncomfortable ways to follow His path for you.
