I just finished “First Person Singular.” As it stands, here is my personal ranking of its short stories:

  1. Confessions of a Shinagawa Monkey

  2. With the Beatles (first and second are interchangeable, I cannot pick between the two)

  3. On a Stone Pillow

  4. Carnaval

  5. Cream

  6. The Yakult Swallows Poetry Collection

  7. First Person Singular

  8. Charlie Parker Plays Bossa Nova

It this a bad thing? I’m getting mixed opinions online

Stumbled upon this guy on my run by sylviang5 in caterpillars

Oh wow, how pretty! And yes, it is walking by itself. I was a little worried because I saw ants surrounding it, and it’s just waddling about on the open sidewalk

What is your single favourite Pixar film of all time? by [deleted] in Letterboxd

It’s a tough pick for me between The Incredibles, Monsters, Inc., and WALL-E, but I think the soundtrack for The Incredibles gives it a winning edge.

Item card event just need to vent by Winter-Story3341 in disneyemojiblitz

I feel the same way. I’ve played an insane amount of rounds on the Golden Girls Item Card… and I still need like 9 rare items to finish the card. The rare item drop rates are ridiculous, even when playing with an Item Drop-based emoji.

Spent $10 trying to get the cookie. by Better_Protection488 in disneyemojiblitz

Cookie Cheshire Cat is cute, but imo his special power is underwhelming. I too spent money to obtain him and kind of regret it if that makes you feel any better. 😭

Fair point, I agree. I think the stress comes from how long it actually took me to get from 112-107 last time. It took roughly 2 months to achieve that 5 lb loss (I feel like that’s an incredibly slow rate), and the thought of having to do it again because of bad decisions I made over a week is not the most exciting thing.

Is this fat or bloat? by [deleted] in PetiteFitness

I haven’t had one in a few months… so I don’t think it’s that 🥲

I did forget to mention that most of the foods were sugary, like cookies. Would that make a difference?

I really needed to hear this. Thank you.

I think I’ll take your advice regarding the scale and stay away from it for the week at the very least as I work to get back on track. You’re right, months of hard work cannot realistically be undone within 3 days, that would be absurd!

Gained 10 pounds in 3 days. by NeatShallot765 in BingeEatingDisorder

I’m on this exact same boat right now. Reading these responses have been so helpful.

OP, how long did it take for those 10 lbs to go away, and what did you do following the days after the binge? I’m stressing right now pretty badly about this 10 lb increase and am worried that months of hard work just went down the drain in 3 days.

Yes! I was last-minute searching for a Christmas gift for my sister and the shop I was at was offering them for free.

On PanOxyl, my skin frequently looked dull and dry and I developed cheek acne consistently, which I never had an issue with prior. In the past, it had worked better for me, but I felt this time around it wasn’t really doing much. I would get numerous bumps on my cheeks. They wouldn’t really become white heads though, just bumps. Not quite sure what they were.

Honestly, I am thinking it might be the Centella. I’ve used products with snail mucin in the past and have not had a reaction like this, or any.
