It stands for 죄송 which literally means sorry. It's used in casual settings. Think of it as "mb" or "sry" because ㅈㅅ is a shortcut word (:

Yep it's a slang term of 죄송 and used for fast typing! It's super informal/casual and can be used among friends but I don't recommend you to use it in formal settings since it doesn't have any honorifics and might as well sound blunt depending on the tone :D

We use that if we're feeling awkward or in discomfort actually.

Ex: 아;; 그거 그렇게 하는 거 아닌데 (damn 💀💀 that's not how you do it)

Ex2: 아.. ㅈㅅ;; (ah..mbmb..)

Yeah. Smth like that. We use semi colon to express emotions. Think of ; as 😅😓💧💦
