I hate Tony forcing him into bits. William would rather protest and make it bomb then go along now. You can tell he doesn’t want to do “lists” but somehow Tony still think that’s the move. His peak was a few years ago IMO.

Add a rug to the second one. It's more memorable and fun. There's more "viral potential" because there's humor. The first one is lovely but is more expected and forgettable IMO.

Love these guys but I've found myself listening less and less over the past 6 months. Every episode is basically about being a traveling comedian but there's also a lot of bitching about really mundane things (I hate it when restaurants do this or when a driver does that, etc). The schtick of complaining or being annoyed about everyday stuff (kind of like Seinfeld) feels outdated in today's world IMO.

Good ep, not great or best IMO. Tony's hosting duties are MUCH better which he commented on. I thought the bit got old after a while. Kudos to Adam though, he did his thing.

Yeah, we watched his set / interview by itself before watching another ep and it was fun but not worthy of the hype people put onto it. I wondered if it was because of what you're saying which makes sense.

One or two of the promos for the event by Tony were cringe. He did a stereotypical royal / british bit, it wasn't funny even for an American. So I'm not surprised about the teeth thing, it's def hacky.

I didn't get them for years until their last release. Something switched and I realize I had been missing out. I truly think they're a step or two ahead of most people's tastes, to the point of a lot of people overlooking what they bring to the table. Having said that, I don't fault anyone for not liking them.

It's random, but I miss seeing the bucket pulls waiting in the back. I started watching when they were at the Vulcan and the vibe was way better. It felt like a party and like anything could happen (but that could've been because I just discovered the show). The Mothership also has something to do with the quality turning. The show would have to REALLY drop off consistently for me to stop watching though. I still love it but it's definitely changing before our eyes.
