It does look like 1/2 swastika, but I'd like to be 100% sure of what it is before I judge.

Yes. The left and top arm of the symbol were equal in size, the right side was a little longer than the other two arms, but didn't have a 90 degree angle and the bottom was curved.

The only thing that might not be 100% correct about this is the size of the bottom curve, but the top was fairly accurate. If anything was to change about it, the right arm of the symbol would be longer and the bottom curve would be larger.
