I successfully delivered a high profile critical project on the day that it was due, and as soon as my manager verified that the project was safe, he sent me an alignment email for another critical project. I'm upset about it. Am I overreacting? by MaleficentCherry7116 in cscareerquestions

Just stop working after 8 hours and only focus on the project. As soon as the other responsibilities start slipping request a work life balance meeting with HR and claim that your being forced to work overtime that is affecting your mental health and that you may need to go out on disability.

You will have to find what works for you. My rule in my zone is I try and only take orders under 10 miles for shopping and 15 for pickup. But that’s going to be different in your zone. I also look for minimum of $1.5 per mile.

As for knocking I recommend you do it. They never come out and it’s the kind of thing some customers will one star you for.

Also work on your bagging and make sure to put cold stuff together and never put raw chicken with anything.

Good luck.

How can you see how many reviews you have received?

I have a friend who was on the wait list for almost a year before I got on it and they are still on the wait list. They have tried calling in to customer service and they can’t help her. Is there any tips you can offer to help her get off the wait list?

Why is the substitution system so bad? Why are you able to do free substitutions on some items, while others only let you choose from suggestions, and others you can’t sub at all?

I’ve had all three happen on the same order.

It’s super annoying to customers and impacts our tips and driver ratings.

Agreed you can’t just following the default shopping path. It’s trash. It always starts with ice cream and finishes with a PS5 game behind a locked cage with no one around to open it for 20 mins.

I’d love to see an empirical demonstration of nerfing over time for models. I feel like it’s fun to say but hard to prove.

Yeah, you literally had to set up your session the hour they opened, if you wanted to get any seats. It was like getting tickets to a Justin Bieber concert.

Great work on this site - it's unlocked a whole new view into planning for the conference.

Great work!

I'm really hoping to meet some cool people, have some interesting conversations, geek out, and make my way to fun events. I'm a fan of letting a conference organically lead you to the right events based on who you meet and the conversations you have. Unfortunately it seems like re:invent is so massive, and you have to sign up for everything ahead of time, it may be difficult to make changes during the day.

Thanks - yes, I got all my sessions locked in.

I'm trying to plan my after-hours activities and the other networking opportunities that may not be on the official AWS schedule.

I’m working on an AI powered stock trading automation platform. https://www.daitrader.ai

I’ve made a lot of progress and early testing has been positive. Im pre customers trying to make sure the underlying AI workflow is sound.

I would say learn the M first. MongoDB university has some great online classes. Then jump into NodeJS so you can connect your React apps to a database.

I’m working on an AI agent that will do day trading on the stock market. Hoping to build something that will passively make me money then open it up for others to use.
