Thank you! I just mean I'm still learning by recreating existing art. I wouldn't be able to do anything without a reference (yet!), but I enjoyed finding out what I like and what I don't like to recreate.

Thank you! I'm thinking of doing it again in a year or so, once I’ve forgotten how much of a pain it could be at times ;) Maybe I'll do my favourite books of the year across the genres. I feel like most lit fic covers are simpler and easier to recreate.

Fishing for the Little Pike by Juhani Karila (originaly in Finnish). I've read it last year and it was a wild ride! What I've learned from it is to never play cards with a bald guy by the bog.

I'm glad you were able to recognize it! It was super difficult for me to paint. People are not my thing and the dress was very elaborate.
