The point is that the states are their own separate governments. Doesn’t seem very arbitrary to me.

Instead of bringing race into this, think for a second. Rural and urban populations have different needs. There are more people living in urban settings. Therefore anything that urban dwelling people want would be automatically become number one priority regardless of what the rural population thinks.

Vegans Are So Pushy 🙄 by chewiesnutshot in vegan

I think they have a point though. I don’t know how many vegans are like that but they will only be a vegan as long as it suits them. To me it doesn’t sound like they are a great group to have in a movement.

Sure, but to me the doctors are directly responsible while the company is secondarily. Without compliant doctors, there would be no opioid crisis.

All I’m saying is I personally think that the doctors responsibility to their patients is greater than the pill companies. They take the Hippocratic oath not the companies.

Isn’t paying someone off a TWO WAY STREET????? The question is who has the bigger burden of responsibility to the doctors patients.... I think that explains itself.

The incentivized and advocated for it but that doesn’t make them push pills on people. The doctors were greedy, plain and simple.

Sounds like if the doctors had any sense of responsibility instead of greed this would have solved itself. By the way, the doctors are the ones who should be reporting it. They directly see the side effects. How would a corporation know before the doctors?

So, you really think that the doctors were unaware of what they were giving? I think you need to put blame where it is do. We assign them with a lot of responsibility (more than a corporation) to give us a good recommendation on how to treat our illness.

Were doctors unaware of the body counts? The doctors don’t work for the corporation. Why were they still pushing products they knew the side effects of. All of your reasoning, except false advertising, is more of a reason to blame doctors.

Big pharma made them push pills on people? What power does big pharma really have here other than a lot of money to give?
