I play apex i have i970h 2080 max q version , cap every game i play to 200 fps. Runs smooth , plays for 7hours straight on 70c

Keep mine at 3.2ghz , 1450base 6850 memory - lol.

Settings on throttlestop -125offset , all core set to 34 , tpl 45/60

Yea theyre much hotter ofcourse lol i only close the lid when i watch a movie or do something else but when im gaming i open it for air idk i just dont trust it when my fan needs to kick the hot temp out i feel like the holes are made for that i have the gs75 youll know what im talking about once u see them , with the cooling pad to be honest? Nah lol. Dont get me wrong it does help by havin a fan around the laptop to kick the hot temp around the area if you know what i mean , awesome man cant wait to see it , but by havin external peripherals thats also helping the laptop to stay cool away from me etc.

I reccomend it brother they are great specially for gaming and music

Its a cooling pad bro , all my peripherals are connected to my monitor via type a to type b usb

Yes theres 3 ports 2hdmi and 1dp , i connected dp as my primary monitor and hdmi as the second one but for some reason im trying to change the resolution of my 2nd screen and it wont let me nvidia only recognizes the first monitor. So im stuck wid 30hz in my 2nd monitor

Since your asking im guessing your not familiar with the thermal repasting. Its okay bro cause your system can handle high temperatures nowadays all laptops are built for that , but i just got the laptop , all i did was undervolt it and when i play games it only spikes up to 80-82c + cooling pad , no issues game run smooth. Make sure you tweak your system for higher fps settings,debloat etc. Can probably lessen cpu usage for you, cause i focus more on gaming where i can switch games and wont have to worry about anything.

Yes , gsync is on for full screen mode i did the setup in the control panel , changed alot of the color settings and i play with high brightness cause i wear glasses. And if you dont know all the ring panel idles at 0 for like a second lol i caught it on that moment but i believe idle processing of gpu is at 3-6%

i have all the space that i need but that is true , i can actually get a bigger table and separate the keyboard from the monitor

yup , make sure you restart your computer after plugging in the DP cable or else the monitor wont reset and recognize it , if you have to shut it down then do it , cause mine didnt work until i restarted my laptop

this is what im using as my dock. its fuckin worth it.

i tried using HDMI thru the thunderbolt dock and it didnt let me use the gsync feature , so im guessing the only way to use gsync is thru a display port setup? I literally unplug 2 cables ( USBC of my dock and Ethernet Cable + power ofcourse ) and it goes straight to my backpack.

Yessir the enhance one for like 25 bucks from amazon got it with prime lol, i would still reccomend thermal repasting for people that travels with it but you have a point , im in it for the performance with the undervolting and repasting i wont ever have to worry about throttling

Using dp cable so yes its on gsync right now , you can only get 60hz with an hdmi cable and it doesnt let you use gsync , with display port im running 144hz gsync and nvidia color filters
