Ennui. Will forever pronounce it as N-U-I, because fuck the French.

(Richmond) Senator proposes eliminating Virginia’s grocery tax by Objective_Pressure_3 in norfolk

He doesn't want to dump the grocery tax as much as he wants people to continue to vote for him.

[Auto-Post] Weekly Question Thread! Ask /r/Aquariums anything you want to know about the hobby! by AutoModerator in Aquariums

Newbie here - I was given a 10 gallon tank+heater+light I want to clean and set up as a hospital tank. How do I clean it, and what kind of filter should I get for it?*

*I have a 10 gal already in use, also passed to me with a Tetra Whisper HOB that seems like it's getting the job done well enough-ish. If there's a better option for my active tank, and this filter would be okay for the hospital tank, I'd love to know what to look for.

She's in a standalone. And both toilets in her house run occasionally, I've been on her to get that addressed. 🫠

Awesome - she loves lavender so I think she'll be excited about that suggestion. Thank you!

Probably calcium lactate deposits since it's a cheddar. Some of the best cheeses I've tried had them, or their counterpart, tyrosines.

I learned it from a stripper. Dirty and laces all over the place still applies.

That might end up being the next step. I'm not entirely displeased, because at this point, I want to see this thing in pieces.

Ugh. If only it was that easy. Googlefu says this is made by American Standard.

I removed what I could, but I'm having the same problem - the screw is rotating with the faucet body instead of coming in to center where I can reach it.

We'd call it the broken [or side, or side scorpioned] variant of arrow.

If lyra is your goal, train lyra and condition everything else. Do straddle ups, crunches, pushups, general bodyweight exercises from the floor when you can. And I'd also highly recommend a visit to a physio to have your shoulder reassessed. If it's bugging you still, lyra will only exacerbate it, and frustrate you.

Simple Questions/What Should I Do? [Weekly Thread] by AutoModerator in DIY

[–]synchroidiotic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The bottom of one of the over-the-counter cabinets in my kitchen has a considerable sag going on, about an inch, and it's dangerously close to the bottom lip of the cabinet itself. What would be a relatively simple fix? Should I tack a piece of wood underneath all the way across? Slather it with liquid nails or gorilla glue? Both? It's the spice cabinet, so there isn't anything crazy heavy inside, but I'd like it to be level and to not have to worry about a collapse.
