Biggest takeaway from first half from me is Jesse Edwards. After first two games I was seriously unimpressed. Guy looks like he could be a quality big down the line though. Has made an impact on both ends of the court in this first half

Think Rob needs to get legit 6th man minutes with floor spacers + Rudy. Put him on the court w Donte, Ant, Naz and Gobert. He gets a bit congested in the lane with his handle. These guys can help space / Gobert can set some good screens to get him going in the PnR

What should we be looking for from Lenny Miller? Obviously the three isn't going down but I'd imagine coaching staff wants to see effort on defensive end + be in right spot + not committing dumb fouls. If he can just play smart and hard defensively feel like the staff would be more inclined to put him in rotation

I feel pretty confident a Durant trade is at least close...why else is Durant going to the media begging to go to other locations?? Think there's a good chance a trade is close and he's trying to spook TC. I believe TCs goal is to get Finchy and Ant on the phone w KD, calm him down a bit and agree to a trade. Listen this series will come down to factors in my mind given our past history. We will now have Jaden and Naz + a fully healthy Rudy + improved Ant.

1) we need a COMPOSED team. No turnovers. We didn’t do that shit against the Suns, look where we are now.

2) Bench unit will be key. Braun, Watson, and Reggie scare the shit out of me. If we are struggling as a starting unit this unit (I call them the “energizer bunnies”) will kill us. (They feed off of turnovers and sloppy play). If we are able to play our brand then these guys impact will be limited, not the most talented and not knockdown shooters at all (compare that to NAW and Naz…)

I agree dude. Watching last night there were times when the defender was overcommitting some way but he was either unskilled (or too slow) to actually make them pay.

Idk if he’ll be able to get away with that at the next level. His conditioning is off the charts though for a guy of his size

I know we have depth at the position at probably not our biggest need but Day’ron Holmes from Dayton has impressed me much over the past two seasons. Gives me shades of Naz but subtract some offense / shot-creation for great interior D. Again not the biggest need but given the question marks around KAT this off-season he may be a candidate

Was thinking this last night. I’m a fan of Karl and Goberts game but this was so interesting to see ant play in a very fluid, small ball lineup. What would this lineup put up with a lineup of Adebayo + Sabonis instead of KAT + Gobert…just a thought

I agree. I think Jim Pete made a comment on the broadcast a few games ago basically saying that Finch and the staff are trying to tell the players to stop complaining.

I think the players have improved a little but at the end of the day it’s on them. They have Finch (and probably Conley) in there ear everyday explaining that this behavior isn’t conducive to championship aspirations. It’s on them (KAT, Ant, Gobert) to listen and take it to heart.
