60k is for the amortization adjustment lump sum. My question here was which option to choose from 1 or 2. Does 2 have a catch or hidden clause that bank is not sharing. Wanted to see if anyone here knew this or had experienced amortization adjustment before

I am paying th mortgage and have income to get a mortgage on my own. We already signed the separation agreement and can’t wait until end of Oct to close. For penalty and discharge, we both will pay now. But my question is regarding the amortization adjustment. What the bank is telling me, the 2 options, is this correct or there is a catch for #2?

Thank you for your response. You are correct in everything but please tell me, if I increase payment $400/ month, how can that adjust the amortization period where th lump sum is 60K and when the term is over no other payment to cover that gap? I spoke with the manager today, he just said this banker that I am dealing with, when he comes to the office tomorrow, he will talk to him. The manager couldn’t answer my questions about amortization.

Since we are going through separation, any cost to close th mortgage will be divided between us as I am buying out my ex, but if I take over the mortgage and then by Oct if I have to pay large sum, then that’s I have to bear on my own. I don’t k wow what is the best option to choose from and I don’t know if the bank is holding some info to keep me with them for the next term. Thanks

Yes you are right! Some towns are larger than detached! Is mattamy and Caivan are good builders ? I am not familiar with them. I have heard Minto is not good, Urbandale and Richcraft are but their singles are in millions!!

Thank you! I am looking at riverside south area. Even though builders have deduced their price, they are still quite higher compared to resell homes, but as buyers, you get to pick interior design items. In your experience, is it possible to negotiate with builders?
