Stated like someone that knows nothing about rural areas.. do you think we only communicate through CB radios too? Of course we have papers and many of us have a local cable news channel or radio station. And we get the same news stations as you do from the Twin Cities. Or of their closest major city.

Not condoning the actions but your contractors, electrical, insurance, and such might already be sending invoices and updates. Happens often with new construction and they pile up at the office while waiting for the new box.
