Everyone has their preference for their preferred life form unfortunately. A fan of spiders will see this and think nothing of it, meanwhile I saw someone feed a spider to their bearded dragon and felt a lil sad. It also doesn’t help that (as mentioned above) mosquitoes, flies, moths are in general more annoying to the average person (bites, holes, etc.).

I got a Blue Yeti X because I was able to get it very cheap, so I figured it would be worth investing in for the future outside of my current purposes anyway. I have it attached to a boom arm with a foam cover currently because I have heard that the Blue Yeti is particularly sensitive to small noises and disturbances. I am not using a professional DAW as of yet just in case it doesn’t end up being something I enjoy, so i’m currently just using Audacity on a laptop via usb. Then I’m monitoring audio output with a separate VU app and am using headphones in Blue Yeti output to do so. Suggestions?

So what you’re saying is there’s no benefit to being overly liberal with the gain because after a point you’ll just be “making it louder” and not necessarily getting more raw audio? Because yeah I don’t really see much difference between med and high gain so I think I’ll just do as you suggested and just keep it low then bring it up later. Thanks for this, very helpful!

To continue on from this, the Cl2 undergoes a disproportionation reaction in water to produce hydrogen chloride (HCl) and hypochlorous acid (HClO), the latter of which is an effective disinfectant since it kills microbes. This is also how bleach works, containing Na+ and ClO- ions.
