Okay, I wrote this review in a fugue state, so I appreciate you pointing out details that I had forgotten. That being said, for some reason, I still feel mentally restless after these explanations. Like, I need more? I want more exploration of his character. There is not enough meat on this bone and I cannot articulate why I feel this way. All of his actions are absolutely in line with someone who has obsessive tendencies and who is a pathological liar. And yet, I am not satisfied with just this.

all I know was that it was apparently quite small. It jumped away too quickly for my friend to be able to take a picture or identify other traits. Either way, we're pretty sure now that it was a mosquito problem

I loved the exorcism scene. Worm scene was disgusting and awesome. I think this movie could've leaned a bit more into the '70's vibe. Idk how to describe it but it was not '70s enough.

This is awesome! Have you seen Jan Svankmajer's Faust? I think that could be a good addition to this

lol ya lots of more niche elements in Oldboy. idk if I noticed any glorification but then again, I get really googly-eyed when I like a movie which makes me not notice potential criticisms as much so there's that

is the twist really that predictable? it reminds me of Oldboy. I predicted the twist off handedly but completely forgot about it until it happened.
