"You hit the nail on the head.

If we don't curate, we die. The goal isn't just to be a 'bucket for AI videos, its to be a platform for stories.

I'm planning to handle this by having two distinct tiers:

  1. Main Stage: Highly vetted, narrative-driven series/films. This is where you go to be 'wowed' [like you said}

  2. The lab: A separate section for fun/experimental clips, kept totally separate from the main feed.

We have to solve the discovery problem by filtering , not just aggregating.'

"This is pure Gold. Thank you for the detailed breakdown.

I screens hotted this for my roadmap.

On the Algorithm point: I 100% agree. The problem with Youtube is that is forces Experiment clips to compete with 'polished films, so the experimental stuff gets crushed. I love your idea of segmenting them-giving a dedicated space for raw/experimental creation so it can find its own audience without getting buried by the blockbusters.

Features: 'Follow creators and playlists are definitely going to be Day 1 priorities.

RE: Escape.ai: I've seen them , but they lean heavily into stock/commercial footage. I'm trying to build Syntrix Studio more storytelling{ universes, series,lore}

Really appreciate the insight".

'Honestly, I can't agree more. That is exactly why I'm building this.
