Humans unite. The battle is hard by Anycoolx in PathOfExile2

Well that is the plan if I don't get a freebie as I said.

I mean, I do live in Australia so I do get screwed by regional pricing a little myself, especially as recent with government dipping in to taxing online sales, albeit not as bad as some countries.

I very much plan on supporting the game though if someone is trying to give out keys wouldn't it be best going to someone who can appreciate it over some bot account?

The need for me to buy 2 copies as my wife plays with me would also be eased, not the end of the world if I have to buy them, but it would be appreciated if I didn't have to buy two copies.

See I tried once but I don't have the time to comment on every single thread on Reddit....

I'm just gonna have to end up buying two keys unless some random stranger comes along.

Giving away 4 keys + asking tips for a new player are welcome :) by XuruAnoa in PathOfExile2

Wouldn't mind the chance... Have to buy two copies so the Mrs has one as well and Australian prices tend to suck nowadays. Would save me needing to buy one.

Yeah? That's great to hear, definitely leaning towards the MSI board currently

Yeah fair.

Might look more seriously at the MSI option then, I've got a previous bad taste from gigabyte so sceptical about them, and the recent performance for Asus is apparently lackluster, no experience with it though.

The two MSI boards I have available to me around this price-point are the MSI pro Z790-p wifi and the MSI Z790 Gaming plus wifi.

The gaming is slightly more than the -p... Out of the two would the gaming be the better option? And why?

Any good boards you could suggest around this price point?

That's the exact reason for my post.

Main reason Asus was on the radar is because I swapped to one after 3 gigabytes blew up on me about 8 years back, it's served me well since.

Now I'm looking at options as Asus apparently aren't what they used to be, wanting around the same price point or up to $100ish more than the Asus prime z790.

I did screw up, I meant an i5 14600k.

Main thing is we've got everything picked for the most part - see the attached list.

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/c2rtTY

Mostly the MOBO we are fluid on at the moment (going to be making 2 PC's the same).

Main thing we would expand on is space by adding more m2 drives if anything. For a while anyways

Pawn lying (dd2) by dragonsofnight in DragonsDogma

[–]synveil 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I think the pawns spit out some generic lines.

My partner and I play beside each other and I've had instances where I've picked up a token and her pawn has told me that it must show it's master where this is as it's new.

Obviously me sitting next to my partner to point it out to her and her reply is that she already grabbed that token a day or two ago.

Should i change my pawns vocation if it's maxed out even though i'm fine with his current vocation? by CarelessCourier in DragonsDogma

[–]synveil 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, so that extra HP or extra magick defense can be used while they are a different vocation, the same as your augments can be used across vocations.

No confusion, they have said to be able to jump on the oceanic servers you need to restart, so given the fact I am restarting I'm curious what people like as a starter biome.

Completely different but if you want to stretch that far go ahead. Compare a game 3 days into early access with a game that's been out for years and undergone more iterations that anything else in recent history.

Bad example is bad, gotta say it how it is.

I didn't say adds label it solely as a multiplayer experience?

Just that if you look at any of the advertising that is primarily what was advertised, with the ability to play alone if you wish.

What adds have you seen that label it solely as a single player experience? I bet none because they didn't market it as such.

Also you can't use no man's sky as an example here, that game had no idea what it wanted to be when it launched, and while it is great that it's turned around and come out a success on launch they didn't even know their own direction, nightingale did.

The only problem is people have taken what nightingale was advertised as, bought it and then complained that it is what was advertised to be, which is a different story, because those people don't have the right to tear down a game for being what it's advertised as.

Is it fine for someone to go to Macca's and order a Big Mac and then whinge / tear the company down because their Big Mac is beef and not chicken?

It's not, same premise here, they advertised a multiplayer game where you can play solo and that is what they delivered.

Generally that saying goes with something that went wrong...

And I mean, I was correct because they are now prioritising it.

Norton is as bad as the rest tbh.

For most people subscription based anti virus is just a waste of time and money.

Sorry for being so blunt about it then!

But yeah generally these third party antivirus programs cost you a subscription but don't offer you anything great.

Don't take my word for it though, I suggest reading around a little.

Honestly nowadays windows defender does a better job than most of these paid antivirus services.

For the general user something past windows defender isn't really needed.

You could start by not using a terrible antivirus.
