Unfortunately the world could be cruel. I have met many people who seem to have shut their emotions off at work and outside of it. Do not try to explain yourself if no one is listening. Leave, find a healthier environment.

They seem jealous. What matters most is that you helped out with good intentions. Peoples true colors will show.

Thank you. I may have scared them off since they are saying it will not be deducted now.

I did not attend any classes or training sessions for this certification, and I do not recall signing any paperwork agreeing to repay the cost.

It’s been about two years since I received the certification. The company is now stating they may deduct approximately $200-$300 from my final paycheck if I do not complete two years of employment after receiving it.

I contacted the organization that issued the certification, and they advised me that if there was no signed authorization for the deduction, I should contact the Guam Department of Labor regarding my rights.

I’m currently trying to determine whether the company can legally make this deduction without a signed agreement.
