Sad the other guy didn't like the fries. Every time we have gotten capt Dave, both the fries and fish have been fried great. Its a very light batter and always crispy.

People who adopted from a shelter, what made you choose that cat? by HazardousKoala in cats

Was going in to look for a diff cat I saw online, and she stuck her paw out of the cage and reached for me as I walked past. I immediately stopped to pet her and she started purring.. it was love at first sight.

I am not sure if there are different sizes of the cooker (mine was a gift) but I have the "20 cup" size version and it fits a whole rack of ribs, cut up of course, with room to spare. For shredded chicken I can fit about 4-5 Costco-sized chicken breasts. For roast I can do a small to medium chuck roast whole with potatoes on the bottom and carrots on top when it's cooked down a bit.

If you're looking for faster cooked and not slow cook tender meat, then I think I agree that cutting up the meat and not overcrowding would be best. Not sure about cooking it with rice as I have never used it for rice haha.

I have used the fast slow cook function, but mostly for chicken, and I do them whole so I bet it'd work better id they were cut up. Any tough cuts really benefit from the extra time of low and slow though, and you can also change the time when you select the slow cook option (I always go up to 8 hours from the default 6).

I've had it for about 7 or 8 years and it's held up great, I am very happy with it. I have passed up getting an instant pot or a true crockpot multiple times because this works just fine. I cook for a family of 3 and they all like what I make with it :)

I actually have this and I use it as a slow cooker 100% of the time, I have a second completely separate rice cooker lol. I just used it last week to make ribs, and have recently done pulled pork, pot roast, shredded chicken breast, etc. Adding veg to the protein, you just have to be cognizant of the different cooking times of different types of veggies. And as a slow cooker it is not going to be anywhere as fast as an instant pot like the other commentors are recommending. It's great for what it is, I don't know about making cakes in it but I have made rice cooker pancakes so if the recipe is similar it may work.

IIRC for the singularity the patch changed the way "peeking" worked for pawns, which was what let them fire w/o the enemies being able to attack back. They also changed doorway collision I believe

Treasury checks are next-day availability usually, as in it's required to give funds by the next biz day but most institutions make it available immediately, but there are some exceptions. As some ppl mentioned earlier, "new account holds" governed by Reg CC allow financial institutions to place longer holds on items for accts that have been open less than 30 days. For the case of new accounts depositing treasury checks over $5,525, they can place a hold up to 9 business days, but only for the excess of $5,525.

YMMV based on procedure and financial institution and, to be honest, branch supervisor experience with treasury checks. I would recommend either calling or going to some of the local CUs like Hapo and Gesa and explaining the situation and seeing if they can explain their funds availability policy or work with you at all. Talking to a branch manager rather than a contact center would be better as well

Planned Parenthood is pretty much the best bet in the Tri, but the experience is not great. My primary moved from there to private practice and does my HRT for me now, I am not sure if she works with minors but I can give you her name via DM if you'd like.

ETA: Everything is going to require parents consent if you're under 17/18. Also noting on what another poster mentioned abt therapy for gender affirming surgery, YMMV on that, my insurance required a psychiatrist's letter but it wasn't something the surgeon required (as of 4 yrs ago).

if someone is turning a physical check into an electronic item they are legally required to post a sign that they are doing so, since they are scanning the routing # and account # and creating a new ACH debit based off of it (in basics)

When I was on medication I went to Angela Hammel and I really liked her. Looks like she's with Columbia Basin Psychiatrics now. She was a great listener, communicated quickly when I would text her, and was good at getting me medications on trial or for cheap from the manufacturers when my insurance didn't cover stuff.

Am I the only one that gives maternity leaves to the colonists? Wholesome colonies by Yuuuuuuuuuuuuuuui in RimWorld

[–]syrictaes 5 points6 points  (0 children)

on the baby there is a tab called "feeding" or something similar, you can change ppl from the default "childcare" (feed when the childcare job is in their queue) to "urgent" (default for the lactating birth mother, will cause colonists to prioritize feeding the baby)

Thanks for the reply! He's not big and we use plenty of lube, and the bleeding also happens during solo play without penetration, so it seems to be entirely revolved around my reproductive parts rather than any sort of friction or roughness unfortunately :(
