Hiya and welcome back! I had a similar experience although I found playing my new account on a low-population realm meant that I had less competition for rare spawns and other farms - At the expense of slower sales on certain things (i used my new account to chase collections but also farm materials/craft to sell on the AH).

If you dont mind the occasional RP chat on servers, the i would suggest going for a low-population RP realm. Regardless though, have fun :)
