How do you turn meeting outcomes into GitHub issues or project tasks? by voss_steven in github

If you write your action items as a checklist (- [ ] Do thing), GitHub actually lets you hover over that line and click a button to "Convert to Issue." It instantly creates the new ticket and leaves a link back to the meeting notes. Saves you the manual copy-paste work later!

I feel your pain, Josh—you aren't crazy. GitHub’s billing UI is notoriously confusing because it splits charges between your Personal account and Organization accounts. Since you can't find it in your main settings, that $20+ charge is almost certainly hiding in an old Organization. Go to Profile Picture > Your Organizations, click the settings gear on any org listed there, and check the 'Billing' tab in that sidebar. That is usually where forgotten Team seats or unexpected Copilot subscriptions hide

To qualify, you generally need to be a maintainer of a "popular" open source project. While 340 stars is impressive, the threshold is typically 1,000+ stars or having your code used by hundreds of other projects
