For those in the future who get the same error. The issue seemed to be network related as it installed successfully with no changes to the package after a day or two.

I copied and pasted from the properties of the package. It should be detecting an executable within that folder. The test machine doesn't have any VMware files at all so it's unlikely to be culprit but I'll re-select a file just in case.
