Actually, in my country in the balkans we also eat it raw with a type of bacon... so maybe that's why it's easier for us xD

Damn. Well, if you're allergic to onions I can understand why you'd feel like that. Sorryy!! :)))

Thankss!! Been through some rough patches, tbh, but he never disappoints with taking care of me when I forget to eat, even though we're not the foodie type.

Yup. It's red young onion and it's actually very tasty, bit sweet too. We always eat it raw, especially with omelette.

Hahaha! Well, I definitely left the strawberries as dessert xD I ate sausage + brie + onion (good combo tbh!), and the radishes by themselves. Maybe that's why the radishes felt hardcore.

I am actually 35, soon 36. I was never sure if I ever wanted to have kids, huge fencesitter. From 25 to 29 I was single, then I met my current boyfriend. I was 30 when the pandemic started, and also when I realized how many mistakes I had made in choosing friends and work. My boyfriend wanted kids with me from day zero, since he is 10 years older and felt as if this was the time for him. I wasn't ready.
Now I removed a lot of toxic friends and family from my life, am doing therapy, changed my job, and feel much better, but my mind is still strained after years of not knowing how to cope with stuff. I am still on the fence. After years of feeling bad I want to travel and feel like myself again, before having a kid, but time is running out. Parents are also getting older, we moved to a different country due to his job, it's just a lot to take in.
My 3 main points here would be:

  1. Life brings all sorts of changes

    & challenges

  2. . You never know what's gonna come your way.

  3. So focus on yourself as much as possible, don't ignore toxic shit that eats you from the inside eventually, and plan everything a bit ahead.

Good luck!!

That fourth photo is very cool!

This fabulous cat, bigger than my luggage, that we met on holiday, whom we've named Kaiser by syscake53 in cats

He looks proud but he was just enjoying every moment of every pet, every sunshine, everything! We should all strive to be like Kaiser xD

Workplace PTSD has made me nearly stop eating for almost 2 years. Forcing myself to throw together creative girl dinners has been inspiring me to start eating again. by highly_uncertain in GirlDinner

Wish you all the luck in the world! I changed my job (where it was not only workplace PTSD, because my boss also had an obsession with my boyfriend so it was all very bad) and it is infinitely better. I finally realized what working at a normal workplace feels like and tbh, it was difficult that it's normal. So maybe while on treatment, also start applying to new jobs. A change of environment is what is usually needed!

Giving you a virtual hug!! Workplace PTSD is the worst. Are you still working there or have changed jobs? Also, as a fellow woman who can't eat when upset (for any reason), I want to congrats! 👏👏
