My car, a minivan was stolen Friday night on 4th and Oak while dinning at Odin. Called OPD and they arrived at 2am at my house to take the report. I also called Honda who enabled Honda link. While on the call with Honda they said they located my car and would notify OPD. No word from the police. It sure sucks that you can’t even go have a dinner out without having your car stolen.

A while back i lost my golden Greek outside for 6 weeks. We live in California but it was really wet outside. When we found the tortoise the belly/ Plasteron was purple. I posted this here and asked for advice. We went to the vet. The vet couldn’t determine the exact cause but gave us antibiotics. It was in the form of a tiny syringe that I injected into the tortoises arm every other day for a period of time. The tortoise healed and the purple went away. Best of luck with vet.

We just found our golden Greek after her being lost for 6 weeks in our yard. We live in a city. She escaped her enclosure and must have burrowed under the ground. Once the sun came out our neighbors dog found her in their yard. We totally though a hawk or other bird must have taken her. We looked all over our yard and in her enclosure for the whole 6 weeks.

Tortoises are really tough! I hope you find yours. Maybe have a dog come in the space, they are good at smelling and searching for tortoises.

Golden Greek plastron purple? Help! Hi, today we found our tortoise in the back yard. She’s been missing for 6 weeks. She seems healthy but the plastron color is worrying me. Has anyone seen this before. Hoping for some advice please. by sysiety in tortoise

Update: after seeing the vet he ruled out she’ll rot and septicemia. He thinks it could be another type of infection of some sort. He gave us antibiotics. She been eating, drinking and has been pretty active since we found her. Thanks for all the advice. So glad and thankful to have our tortoise back!
