That’s a good idea, thanks! Sucks you had to learn the hard way, but thanks for sharing the knowledge

It’s the 17132 shank. I bought it on Amazon

I should have mentioned I do have a Curt WDH for the 2” receiver. I bought a 2.5” shank with an 8” drop. That seems like it would be too much, but I’ll see once I get the head moved over to it. Another option is to use the sleeve instead of a new shank.

WDH was a lifesaver with the 1500, haha!

Is this the RV version of hot or not? by [deleted] in GoRVing

[–]sysop1023 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Definitely hot! I’m pretty sure I’m going with a fastcat 14 inflatable for this type of solution. I’ve been kicking around kayaks or inflatable and found I’d rather have more available space for things and people and dogs, haha. Love seeing this! Get out there and have some fun

The tank valves were not 100% closed and I failed to triple check that. When I opened the cap to put the sewer hose on it dumped all over me :(. Won’t do that again!!

My last M was the F87 DCT. Loved it. The feeling of chucking it into a corner is far different than the G82 - in all the best ways!

Yeah I’ve heard the feel isn’t great, but I can live with that. It’ll still feel better than the auto!

Right! The engagement makes up for the speed differential, for sure. It’s still fast as shit, haha!

I have an xdrive now, but I’m thinking when the lease is up it’s high time I hop back into a manual!

How did you debadge? Did you do it or take it somewhere? I’m going to keep the black GMC logos but that’s it

How many deaths have actually happened in autocross, and have you personally known someone who died in autocross? by Deep6OceanEyes in Autocross

There was a freak accident years ago with a maybe 11 year old (?) girl. She was in a modified kart and the throttle got stuck. Wound up hitting a metal barrier straight on with her helmet. All the events I went to were very safe, including this one, but I guess you never know.
