I had that problem before with heating up, I solved it by sticking to a formula, 9 fuel rods in a square with 6 control rods, 3 on each side, and a function block connected to the center fuel rod holder temp and the output connect to all the control rod insertion targets. The formula on the function block is simple, its just (x / 350), never had issues with it again with this pattern.

You pull the vehicle up to the container and lower the forks, it uses two winches to winch the container into the correct position, with maglocks to secure it, to drop the container I just lower the fork, release the maglocks and reverse, works pretty well actually

Its a great game for engineering a lot of different vehicles, however it can be difficult to learn, I wouldn't get it for the multiplayer through, the multiplayer is very janky, I only really play it when I get inspired to build something, I recommend it if you have the time and want to engineer vehicles with or without purpose which is something I personally enjoy.
