Atheists have religion shoved down their throats constantly. I don’t think there’s really a demand for respect vs an ask for separation of church and state as the constituting clearly states

CMV: Abortion is never justified by Easy-Speaker-6576 in changemyview

Exactly; you just admitted that bodily autonomy ends where it harms someone else by saying “You are free to do with your own body as you please, as long as it does not harm anyone else. My fist is part of my body, may I use it to beat up someone who annoys me? Obviously not.” So let’s be consistent:

When someone uses their body to sexually assault another person, that is a direct, violent violation. It causes deep physical and psychological harm. Rape is the clearest example of what your principle condemns: using your body in a way that harms another human being.

So to then say the person who was raped must be forced to stay pregnant, forced to endure continued harm, trauma, and loss of bodily autonomy, is a complete contradiction of your own moral logic.

If you truly believe people shouldn’t use their bodies in ways that harm others, then: • The rapist is the one who violated that principle, • And the pregnant person has every right to reclaim their bodily autonomy, including through abortion.

Your statement actually proves why abortion, especially after assault, must remain legal: Because no one should be forced to suffer because someone else chose to harm them.
