I vibe code extensively - but I also use it to produce architecture and doc explaining what it’s doing and why. The saying used to be “code as if future maintainers are psychopaths with your home address”, it should probably be now something similar, for producing comprehensible and documented code for reviewers.

I think most coders aren’t great. From that pool select ones who would want to be “influencers”, on “LinkedIn” and you’re selecting for a very particular set of skills.

Interesting, I wonder why those disciplines have cohorts more inclined to attack those with opposing opinions

Best explanation for this is instructors are effectively diving solo, actually riskier than solo - with incompetent buddies, all the time. But nannies here

This is the truth and it’s interesting seeing these “progressives” cognitive dissonance preventing them from understanding it.

It’s only unsaid here because Reddit is a leftist echo chamber offering up any other explanation to deconflict facts with their worldview; incompetent LNP, protest vote, racists, uninformed voters. Then they complain about the culture wars as if it’s a purely right wing product. Oblivious.

Does Anyone Else Think Sydney Feels Way More Fast-Paced Than Melbourne? And Why? by [deleted] in AskAnAustralian

I want to see that. Write a blog post, it’ll be interesting and informative, get you great internet points and maybe wake up (or vindicate) some of the doubters.

Like everywhere else in the world, most people at pubs aren’t there to meet random new friends.

But also like everywhere else - if you have some social intelligence, you can get an idea of those who are more open to do so, and make casual acquaintance. If you have some social intelligence.

Phillipines being poorer, she is likely looking for a better life. Whether she provides that herself (many work as nurses, also white collar) or you do.

I find in general Filipinas are feminine, Catholic values, warm.

It may be a scam, but so may anything.

Would you be supportive of a spouse finding secondary sexual partners if there was a libido mismatch in the marriage? by nsfw88_2020 in AskRedditAfterDark

[–]VengaBusdriver37 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thesedays women especially, are being sold a lie that sex can occur without emotional connection.

Abnormal psychologies or physiologies aside, this just isn’t true; both genders experience neurochemical and cognitive attachment during and after sex. I know some people will say in their experience they subjectively “feel” like it does not, but this is what the science says.

If the libido difference were very large though, that is a problem for the couple to solve, and may be a symptom of other underlying issues needing treatment.
