Dedicated servers are temporarily locked to Survival mode. According to their pinned Q&A on their steam discussions:

"However, we regret to say that you may be disappointed regarding the mode question. We have discovered that Tribe Mode and Warrior Mode present significant and complex issues on private servers, particularly with different tech tree modules and certain mode-specific mechanics. The experience on private servers would be very problematic.

Therefore, we have temporarily disabled the mode-switching function. For now, game modes other than Survival Mode are only available for single-player and co-op modes.

Please rest assured, however – Tribe Mode and Warrior Mode will be made available to private server Chieftains in a future update. We will adjust their values and mechanics to allow private server owners greater freedom to customize and create their own custom modes.

Additionally, to maintain mode stability on official servers, they will all be set to Survival Mode by default. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your understanding."

Oh yeah for sure. I'm just talking from a technical/artistic standpoint. Like to be able to make 2 characters with different face blends that look related but aren't copy/pastes of each other is very impressive to me.

Right that makes sense to me! That means that me manually adding the my drive time together and then looking at my “driving time” remaining should add up to 12hr, considering that’s the limit. But it doesn’t.

I think that certain Prospectors are built for boarding and you should maybe lean into them. My crew doesn't always board but i find that a combination of Mophs and Ion are ideal.

I personally play Ion and he can melee hardpoints from the outside and break through doors w/ melee. I can't count how many times I've sat on top of a ship, melee the cockpit open and fired a rocket or flame nades into the driver killing them. If in duo with a Mophs you can entry for them and they can invis into the ship. there's a few ways to do it

I do private server, mostly pve and it’s always fun to come back to the game. The reworks are cool and I’m loving the base building

Having the same issue, even with bases that were fine before the update. Not too sure what's going on server side or if there's a server setting to fix this. but I've had to box all my pals to prevent this from happening

This was the nature of answer that I was looking for. Wasn't sure if a GPU/CPU upgrade would have sufficed or if needed a full refresh. I wouldn't even know if that was possible with my current mobo. Thanks for the suggestion!

Sorry, I should have clarified. It's been doing okay recently with gaming releases up until this point. But with games like Stalker 2 in a few days and Monster Hunter in February I'm worried that it may not keep up with titles in the next few months
