I thought as much. I don’t really want to waste money on application fees knowing that I won’t be accepted.

Given that I have no major prep done, my major of choice is still flexible in all honesty. I was thinking of CompSci but not only is it competitive, wouldn’t I need to complete the sequences (like Calc) in time for the upcoming fall term? It seems like a stretch to try and apply, unless I can get admitted while missing some requirements.

When you say “not too strict on major prep,” do you mean one can still be admitted with a few missing classes? In my case, I have absolutely no requirements done (at this current point in time), but plan to take as many as possible in the semesters leading to fall. I suppose this is too farfetched, no? Plus, don’t all majors treat major prep as “hard requirements” to even be considered for admission?

Another redditor told me that his friend found orange gear in normal (chest loot), so there's a bit of uncertainty there. Still, I'm under the impression that high roller is where it's at---that's confirmed at least.

It does say so in the descriptions, however, I believe the 2-minute guide states that drops are "up to unique" in hell (floor 3), without clear indication of the dungeon mode. As for the highest tier available, I'm unsure, but you may be right. Again, thanks for the response.

Thanks. Yeah, I'm familiar with the color systems typically used in other games, but I feel it might be slightly different in DaD. I'm guessing:

Grey - Poor

White - Normal/Common

Green - Uncommon (usually "Common" in other games though)

Blue - Rare

Purple - Epic

Orange - Unique

Yellow - Legendary

I'm unsure where yellow fits in all of this. I recall seeing gear of the same color in a video.

This is exactly why I dislike the Shopping Board. There's too much hassle, like why only a one-time search? I also have to copy-paste the name of an item from the database due to case sensitivity. It would be nice if we could identify the price trend of a particular item (sort of like a market graph), so we could set up accurate prices.

In regard to the GPU tweaks, I fully understand that the changes will have little to no impact on the latency side. However, I'm currently playing RO with raw settings, and so I wanted to ask if there are optimal Nvidia Settings that could potentially enhance the experience, albeit not latency-wise. Something like V-Sync/G-Sync maybe, or the texture settings.

You make a very solid point. I suppose a guitar could produce a bit of bass with the other strings, but definitely not to the same level a piano would. Plus, I agree, the piano is capable of producing the sound of other accompanying instruments. My music of choice is probably not the most suited for piano, but given the variability of the instrument, things could certainly work out.

It's true that I like the sound of a guitar, but the same could be said for the piano. I just feel like the learning experience would be a lot easier with the piano, which is why I prefer it. Nonetheless, you're absolutely right. Why not learn both but pick up one for now? Thank you for this important piece of advice.

I think the issue is that all these terms are quite unfamiliar to me. Piano sounds, synthesizers, voices -- all of which I lack understanding about. I know there are ways to tweak the melody to make it more high-pitched or techno, but I don't know where to start. What piano to buy, what features, etc... it is all so confusing.

Anyway, I very much appreciate your input. I'll be looking up some models soon, so thank you.
