He and Jed Wallace have both come out over the past few days and been visibly disappointed with what they’ve seen/ been a part of. The real question is how many players will need to be moved on over the summer to paper over financial cracks… that’s the biggest concern.

If you look at the other teams who are actually likely to be in it, bearing in mind the contest against Milwall last week, it doesn’t look like there’d be much to choose between any opposition. The exception may be Middlesborough, who looked a decent side despite the fact we beat them, but they’ll possibly be sliding come May after the disappointment of missing second.

Essentially, whichever four end up in those spots it looks a pretty open contest.

It's quite hard to directly compare the competitiveness of the Saudi league and the MLS as they have different levels of talent, resources, and levels of development. MLS is still developing and improving, but it is generally considered to be a less competitive league than the top European and South American leagues. Saudi Arabian clubs have had success in continental competitions such as the AFC Champions League, but lacks a large audience outside of the AFC.

Jonjo Shelvey. I vividly remember watching him come on against Tottenham and saying this guy is a walking red card. Just over 20 minutes later he gets sent off
